Dağıtım: Tüm Gümrük ve Dış Ticaret Bölge Müdürlükleri To our free trade partners, Revised Electronic Movement Certificate EUR 1 De ar Sir/Madam, We refer to our previous notification sent in May 2020 regarding the electronic issuance of Movement Certificate EUR.l, enclosed here for reference. Please be informed that as of 15 December 2020, there will be some changes to the certificate. As stated in the previous notification, the launch of the digital Movement Certificate EUR.l was expedited due to the COVID-19-crisis. As the digital certificate is not a temporary solution during COVID-19, Norwegian Customs have worked on revising the certificate. Please find a specimen of the revised certificate below, and a presentation with the new revisions highlighted in slide 9 and 10 enclosed. We would like to highlight some of the revisions to the certificate, which are also to be found illustrated on slide 9 in the enclosed presentation. Firstly, we have introduced an authentication tool, available at the following URL as of 15 December 2020: https://eurl.toll.no/ Secondly, we have made room in the box above box 2 of the certificate for the exporter to insert the reference number. The number will also be available in the red boxes on the bottom left and upper right side of the certificate. Thirdly, we have introduced the second page of the certificate with box 13 and 14 regarding verification. In addition to this, we have also made minör adjustments of the text and layout to the certificate. Our ref.: 20/58901-1 In this regard, we would kindly ask you to confirm on behalf of your administration whether you a) accept the revised electronic Movement Certificate EUR.1 b) do not accept the revised electronic Movement Certificate EUR.1 • in the latter case, we kindly ask you to explain why the revised electronic Movement Certificate EUR.1 cannotbe accepted. Certificate must not contain erasures or words vvrîtten över one another. Any alterations must be made by deleting the incorrect particulars and adding any necessary corrections. Any such alteration must be initialled by the person who completed the certificate and endorsed by the Customs autorities of the issuing country or territory. 2. No spaces must be left betvveen the items entered on the certificate and each item must be preceded by an item number. A horizontal line must be dravvn immediately below the last item. Any unused space must be struck in such a manner as to make any later additons impossible. 3. Goods must be described in accordance with commerciai practice and with sufficient detail to enable them to be identified.
