Recently, customs authority of Turkey has been requesting verification on non-preferential certificates of origin issued by Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). Main purpose of those requests is the confirmation of C/O issuance (i.e. authenticity of C/O). For more prompt and convenient confirmation, Korea Customs Service (KCS) informs your authority of how to confirm the authenticity of C/O through a web site as follows. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How to confirm the authenticity of C/Os issued by KCCI 1. Visit a website http://cert.korcham.net/search/index.htm 2. Select the year of C/O issuance 3. Enter Reference Number shown in the upper right hand side of C/O 4. Enter Reference Code shown below the Reference Number 5. Click "Check it out" --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In cases where a C/O is authentic, a new window, "Authenticity of a document certified by KCCI", will appear so that your authority can confirm relevant information. In cases where a C/O was corrected or has never been issued, a new window, "The Reference No. and Reference code that you have entered are invalid", will be opened. The authenticity of C/Os issued by the KCCI can also be confirmed at another web site operated by International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). * Address of ICC's C/O verification website: https://certificates.iccwbo.rg Unfortunately, however, some problems have recently occurred making it difficult to confirm the authenticity of C/Os at the above-mentioned web site.
